Each day that I play I will report back my total number of games played, how much I paid to play, how much I won or lost and my total profit. As you can see below in the picture, the players I wrote about yesterday are the players I played. Â Â Here is how those players stacked up for me.
My Investment (Total amount paid to play) : $144 (3 games total)
Winning totals : $345 (2 games won)
Total Profit : 201%
Let’s take a look at how things will stack up for you today, April 2, 2013.
WEATHER : The only potential weather concerns are in Oakland where there is a slight chance for rain.
Pitchers I’ll be using
Yu Darvish ($9,500) vs. Astros : Last season Darvish beat the Astros pitching 8 IN, giving up two runs and striking out 11. I see more of the same tonight.
Jarrod Parker ($6,200) vs. Mariners : Parker is a great option tonight against the Mariners. A pitcher that will hit double-digit fantasy points and be in line for a win. A great bargain option for “EXPERT†type matchups as well as offensive heavy minded owners.
 Catchers I’ll be using
Jonathan Lucroy ($3,300) vs. Rockies : With no proven historical data at the catcher position, I’ll spend a little more tonight and roll with a contact hitter in Lucroy vs. the Rockies. Positive points is the key.
Jason Castro ($2,500) vs. Rangers : Obviously going against Darvish will not be easy, but with a good spring and Castro finally fully healthy, he’ll be a decent start tonight.
1B I’ll be using
Kendry Morales ($3,300) vs. A’s : Morales has decent numbers (5-for-12) vs. Parker tonight.  There really isn’t many great 1B options tonight. If you’re not a Morales fan, the other 1B I’ll be looking to use is Lance Berkman at the same price.
James Loney ($2,500) vs. Orioles : Loney has decent numbers vs. Jason Hammel. Over his career Loney is 9-for-29 with three homers and eight RBI.
2B I’ll be using
Rickie Weeks ($3,700) vs. Rockies : Weeks has hit Jorge De La Rosa well. He’s 4-for-7 with three doubles and a stolen base. For some his price might be a little too high, but he’s a player that will get you positive numbers tonight.
Jerry Hairston Jr ($2,400) vs. Giants : I’m guessing he’ll get a spot start tonight against Madison Bumgarner. He’s 3-for-7 with a double, RBI and stolen base against the lefty.
3B I’ll be using
Adrian Beltre ($3,900) vs. Astros : The best option I think tonight, which is why I’m not pimping out any bargain 3B. I like his numbers vs. Lucas Harrell (5-for-7 with four RBI), and with the short porch in left field, I’m smelling homer.
SS I’ll be using
Elvis Andrus ($3,300) vs. Astros : I love the price and potential stacking of the Rangers tonight against the Astros.
Luis Cruz ($2,800) vs. Giants : Had a great showing in the WBC, right now qualifies on Fanduel at SS, but that won’t last long. If you’re needing to save money, he’s not a bad option.
OF I’ll be using
Ryan Braun ($4,500) vs. Rockies : Juice or no juice, the dude destroys De La Rosa. Braun is 7-for-9 with a homer, 7 RBI and two stolen bases. Money!!!
Jose Bautista ($4,400) vs. Indians : My riskiest pick of the night. He could be boom or bust, but I like the potential in his first game of the season.
Melky Cabrera ($3,600) vs Indians : Another stack possibility with the Blue Jays lineup. Melky is 11-21 vs. Justin Masterson and looking to prove a lot of people wrong after his roid incident last year.
Sam Fuld ($2,500) vs. Orioles : Fuld will be batting second tonight. He’s no longer “Super Fuld” but he’s a decent cheap option in the OF that I’ll be using today.
