Here are the latest CIA results:

Pitcher CIA Result Comments
Zach Britton Lose Is 7/8 in SV/SVO and is close to being safe, but skills are still below CIA minimums.
Ernesto Frieri Auto Lose Got a vote of confidence from Mike Scioscia after an ugly BS on June 14. However the door was left open for Joe Smith to get a chance. We do not include Smith for now since CIA does not speculate, and we will have more next week.
Chad Qualls Hold Continues to get the job done, but finally blew a save on June 12 after more than a month without letting up a run.
Bryan Shaw Auto Lose He has not had a SVO since he blew one on June 1, so we will delete him next week- he never had a share of the job.
Cody Allen Hold He is close to “auto hold” and his skill set is well above CIA minimums so it appears the Indians identified the right guy.
Fernando Rodney Auto Hold K/BB down to 3.00
Joakim Soria Auto Hold Number 2 in K/BB.
Grant Balfour Auto Lose Deservedly lost his job as sole closer. But he is still part of a committee and converted a SVO on June 11 so he is not yet a “hit.”
Jake McGee Hold He easily bests CIA’s skill minimums, and got the last SVO, converting it with relative ease.
Koji Uehara Auto Hold The AL Perfection Leader at 14.
Greg Holland Auto Hold With a .321 BABIP he may be even better  than it appears on the surface.
Joe Nathan Auto Lose He pitched in a non-save situation over the weekend, and Ian Krol got the last save. No official job change as I am writing this so stay tuned.
Glen Perkins Auto Hold Blew his first SVO of the year back on Opening Day and since then has been almost perfect.
Ronald Belisario Lose Gets “upgraded” as he is now above the SV/SVO Mendoza Line but skill set is still lacking.
David Robertson Auto Lose It can take a while to get back to “hold” after a five-run outing, but Robertson is almost there and is 100% safe despite the status.
Casey Janssen Auto Hold He is not walking anyone and his K rate is back in CIA’s good graces. He has only let up ER in one appearance all year.
Sean Doolittle Hold The Doolittle K/BB Watch is at 44.00
National League
Craig Kimbrel Auto Hold 3 BS and a 4.55 K/BB seem a bit weak for a closer of his stature.
Francisco Rodriguez Hold Back where we expected after a brief rough patch due to overwork.
Trevor Rosenthal Lose He is 8 for his last 10 and has only let up one run since May 18. If this continues he will be back into “hold” status next week, or if he converts his next SVO.
Hector Rondon Hold He is out with a sore elbow and Neil Ramirez has picked up the slack. Stay tuned; with Rondon’s injury history there are no givens.
Addison Reed Auto Hold Converted 16/18 and has an 8.25 K/BB. So why is he in trouble? Home runs are an example of the “availability bias”; they are easy things to remember when forming our opinions.
Kenley Jansen Auto Hold Would like to see fewer walks.
Sergio Romo Auto Lose This is managerial malpractice. Romo pitched six times in ten days, and after getting bombed on June 13 he pitched the next day and got bombed again, pitching a third straight day. He should be fine but it hasn’t been a great season.
Steve Cishek Auto Hold 15/16 in SV/SVO
Jennry Mejia Hold He has been serviceable but nothing more and only barely gets “hold” status.
Rafael Soriano Hold The Nats bullpen has been among the best in baseball, and Soriano has been part of it but mostly his job has been made easier by the others in the pen.
Huston Street Auto Hold Still the MLB Perfection Leader at 18.
Jonathan Papelbon Auto Hold He has been fantastic in getting the job done despite weakish skills, and added to his scoreless outing streak. He has only let up a run in two outings all year; that is a week for some guys.
Jason Grilli Auto Hold He has been perfect since coming back into the role.
Latroy Hawkins Auto Hold He has more SV than K’s; a rare feat.
Aroldis Chapman Auto Hold K rate is now up to 17.44.
