Daily Grab Bag

Check back here for daily updates on injuries, closer battles, player news, and anything else that might affect your fantasy baseball team.

  • Troy Tulowitzki underwent surgery on his groin yesterday and will miss the next six to eight weeks, which would put him out until around mid-August.
  • Roy Oswalt will make his season-debut for the Rangers Friday against the Colorado Rockies.
  • Salvador Perez (knee) is progressing well in his rehab and could be back on the field next week, which is fantastic news for owners in need of some catching help.
  • Trout/Harper Watch: With two of baseball’s best prospects being called-up last month, I’m going to dedicate this space to keeping tabs on the youngsters for the near future. Here’s to hoping that you were able to grab one (or both)!
Bryce Harper: Harper went 1-2 with one run and one RBI yesterday. (.291, 31 R, 7 HR, 20 RBI, 4 steals on the season).
Mike Trout: Trout went 2-5 with one RBI yesterday.  (.338, 40 Runs, 6 HR, 28 RBI, 19 steals on the season).
